Modacrylic is a light and insulating synthetic fibre which melts but does not burn. It can be used as inherent flame retardant fibre blended with cotton, aramid, wool and other fibers to improve its pilling behaviour and  increase its softness. Its flame retardancy performance will not decrease after repeated washing or normal use over long period of time with excellent stability. Mainly used in the uniform and workwear.
